Patty Sue Wilson, 73, a resident of Cape St. Claire since 1963, died of cancer May 5 at her home after an eight-year illness.
Born July 29, 1933, in Washington, D.C., and reared in Capitol Heights, Mrs. Wilson attended the Maryland School for the Deaf in Frederick and Gallaudet University in Washington. She worked at ERCO, and was a homemaker who enjoyed boating, crabbing, fishing, playing the slots, cooking and spending time with family.
Surviving are her husband, Jack Wilson; two sons, John and Paul Wilson, and two daughters, Trixie Haney and Barbara Lester, all of Cape St. Claire; her mother, Margureite McGahan of Arnold; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was the daughter of the late Elsie Portman McGahan.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday with a service at 8 p.m. at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial is private.
