Patty C. Nicholson, 77, of Glen Burnie, died of lung cancer Nov. 21 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Nicholson was born Aug. 26, 1928, in Orange, Va., and reared in Baltimore. He also resided in Laurel for 14 years.
From 1950 to 1951 he served in the Army. He retired as a boilermaker for Local 193 after 43 years of employment.
His interests included golf, horse racing and watching football.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes O. Fillmann Nicholson, whom he married Dec. 23, 1948; three daughters, Debra Sue Cary and Cindy A. Pfeiffer of Pasadena and Pam Weatherly of Charlestown, W.Va.; one sister, Mildred Birner of Dundalk; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late James P. and Raymond T. Nicholson.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5829 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.
