Patrick J. Shaneyfelt passed away on February 13, 2025, he was 75.

He was born April 1, 1949 to Raymond J. Shaneyfelt and Betty L. (nee Grimes) Shaneyfelt in Uniontown, PA. He was raised in Essex, MD and attended Kenwood High School (in Essex, MD) and later worked for Westinghouse, Gould Electronics, and Texas Instruments. He lived in Pennsylvania, Essex/Middle River, MD, and Brooklyn Park, MD, before settling in Curtis Bay, MD.

Patrick served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Church at Severn Run. He enjoyed muscle cars ('65 Chevelle SS), classic rock music (Led Zeppelin), family, travel, hanging out with friends and Sci Fi.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Angela C. Shaneyfelt (nee Burford); his daughters Ariel and Ariana Smith; his cousin Donnie Grimes (Mary); his nieces Michelle Shaneyfelt, Courtney Moore, and Brittney Ratliff; his nephews Lance Shaneyfelt, Jason, Travis, and David Bagby; his great nieces and nephews Paris Ward, Jace Smith, Nevaeh Blair, and Riley Ratliff, and many friends.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10 am to 11 am at The Church at Severn Run, 8187 Telegraph Rd, Severn, MD 21144. A funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be private.
