Patricia Gail Schultz, 70, a resident of Pasadena, died June 11 at her home with her husband at her side after a year-long battle with cancer.
She was born in Baltimore, Maryland where she was raised and graduated from Edmondson High School.
She was an employee of the United States Postal Service, Pasadena branch for over 20 years.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband particularly to Ocean City, Florida and cruising. She was very active in the Bereaved Parents of the USA after the loss of her beloved daughter Kelly in 1996.
She is survived by her loving husband James and best friend after 52 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to her son James (Jr.), grandmother of Devan and Chad and sister of Joanna.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Tate Cancer Center, 305 Hospital Dr, Glen Burnie, MD 21061, and especially to the caring staff of the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD 21122.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Sunday, June 15th from 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 16th at 10:30 am, with the interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 7859 Tick Neck Rd Pasadena, MD 21122.
