Patricia Ann Salvatore (nee Sungenis), 71, died on June 14, 2008, of natural causes at Anne Arundel Medical Center .

Mrs. Salvatore was born March 26, 1937 in Philadelphia , PA to the late Joseph and Lena Sungenis and was raised in Washington , DC . She married Joseph Vincent Salvatore on February 24, 1958 and had lived in Silver Spring , MD for 15 years and in Crofton for the past 20 years.

She graduated from The Academy of Notre Dame in 1955, where she held office in Omega Beta Delta and she was a retired Budget Analyst for University of Maryland College Park .

She was an avid reader and enjoyed travelling, loved the Redskins, the beach, and enjoyed debating politics. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Salvatore and her son Chris Salvatore.

Survivors include her son, Rick Salvatore of Port Republic , MD; brother, Robert Sungenis of Ormond Beach , Florida ; and four grandchildren.

Interment will be private. Arrangements have been made by Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
