It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia (“Pat”) Olsen, who died peacefully at the age of 92 on March 1, 2026, while residing at Brightview Senior Living in Severna Park, Maryland.

Born on December 14, 1933, in Louisville, Kentucky, Pat enjoyed a modest childhood enriched by the companionship of her three siblings. From an early age, she carried the warmth, resilience, and kindness that would define her life.

Pat was the devoted wife of the late Tom Olsen for 62 wonderful years. Together they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. Family was always at the center of Pat’s world, and she nurtured it with quiet strength and generosity.

An avid sailor, tennis player, and golfer, Pat embraced life with enthusiasm and grace. Whether on the water, on the court, or on the course, she competed with joy, happiest when surrounded by family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Olsen Oxford (Kenneth Oxford) of Severna Park, Maryland, and her beloved grandchildren, Laura Oxford and Mary (“Tricia”) Oxford of Washington, DC.

Pat’s friendliness and her remarkable inability to say an unkind word are the legacies she leaves behind. We will forever miss her warm heart, gentle spirit, and comforting smile.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday March 5, 2026 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care,P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146.
