Patricia J Kopf or "Miss Pat" to all that knew and loved her passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021.  She was 83 years old.  Patricia was born on October 13, 1938 to Ralph and Carolyn Purdum and grew up in Randallstown, MD.  She graduated from Millford Mill high school in 1955 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from University of Maryland College Park.  After college she met and married the love of her life, Emory Kopf, after the two were introduced by mutual friends on a blind date.  The couple moved to Arnold, MD where they raised their three children.  Patricia worked as a public health nurse for 30 plus years for the Baltimore County health department.

Patricia loved to garden and read in her free time and was a long time member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Arnold.  After their children were raised, she and Emory enjoyed traveling and spending time at their mountain home in Victor, Idaho.  But Patricia's main passion later in life were her grandchildren, Jax and Zoe Hirsch of Arnold, MD and Madeleine Kopf of Mount Pleasant, SC whom she adored and cherished.

Patricia will be remembered by all that knew her as a caring soul and mother figure as she always took the time to listen and give her sage advice.

Patricia is survived by her two sons, Steven Kopf of Mount Pleasant, SC and Michael Kopf of Victor, ID and her daughter Laura Hirsch of Arnold, MD.

Due to COVID restrictions a private memorial service will be held for family members with a celebration of her life to follow later this year.
