Patricia Anne Hower, 77, a resident of Arnold, passed away on July 25, 2017 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

She was born on March 6, 1940 in Roanoke, VA and was raised in Catonsville, MD, where she attended schools. Patricia married Richard Hower on August 2, 1980. She previously lived in Elkridge and Columbia, MD.

Patricia enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, and travelling. She was an avid Baltimore Ravens and Navy Football fan.

She worked for Hearn Kirkwood Foods as an Inside Sales Manager.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard R. Hower of Arnold; son, Robert Gross  (Tracey) of Millsboro, DE; son, Joseph Gross of Lewes, DE; daughter, Kelly Marianetti (Rick) of Elkridge, MD; daughter, Lisa Hower (fiancée Craig) of Tarrytown, GA; son, Robert K. Hower (Dina) of Sykesville, MD; son, Sean Hower (Tammy) of Odenton, MD; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Patricia was a woman with so much love and compassion, combined with a warm goodness in her heart. She was the matriarch of our family and the perfect friend anyone has ever known.  There is no treasure anywhere to equal what she is worth to our family. May she rest in peace.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 2 pm - 4 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park, with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 pm. Interment will be private.
