Patricia A. Fisher (nee Kemp), 60, a 14 year resident of Arnold, died on December 01, 2009 at home, due to cancer.

She was born on December 28, 1948 in Washington, DC, raised in Silver Spring and attended St. Patrick's School in Washington. Past residences include Largo and Edgewater. Mrs. Fisher worked as a Claims Representative for Social Security Administration for 20 years and was a homemaker.

She enjoyed shopping, attending craft shows and enjoyed eating crab cakes.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Paul J. Fisher of Arnold; two sons, Christian E. Shunk (Holly) of Port Republic, and Joshua A. Shunk of Huntingtown; daughter, Alicia L. Shunk of Edgewater. two sisters, Edna J. Graham of Edgewater and Ann J. Wagner of Laurel; three stepsons, Jeffrey L. Fisher (Jennifer) of Baltimore, Mark B. Fisher of Baltimore and Bryan P. Fisher of Baltimore; and two granddaughters, Beatrice and Bridget.

She was preceded in death by her late parents, Edward and Doris Kemp.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland.
