Patricia Ann Bruce, age 77, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2013. Patricia was born on November 14, 1935.

Patricia grew up in Northborough, Massachusetts and was the youngest of three siblings. She graduated from Northborough High School where she was a 4 year standout in both basketball and softball. Patricia's passion for sports continued through the years, whether it was coaching Green Hornets or playing tennis or golf, or watching her beloved Orioles.

Patricia married the love of her life, Cdr. Richard Earl Bruce, July 28, 1956. As a Coast Guard family, Patricia and Cdr. Bruce raised their three children while living in such places as Boston, Norfolk, Kauai, San Diego, and finally Severna Park, Maryland for the last 42 years. While enjoying life, travel and sports, the latter years were consumed by their other passion, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) Bruce, daughter Linda Bruce Eaton, son Michael Bruce and daughter in law Jill Bruce, son Richard Bruce, granddaughters Nicki Neuwiller and Heather Madar, grand sons Connor and Trevor Bruce, and great grand daughters Kendall and Haley Neuwiller.

Patricia was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Severna Park, Maryland.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146 at 1:00 PM.
