Nora Lee Scaffe, 89, a five-year resident of Glen Burnie, died of pancreatic cancer Nov. 3 at the home of her son, Norman Scaffe of Severna Park, after a 10-month illness.

Born March 9, 1918, in Wallerville, Miss., Mrs. Scaffe was reared in Wauchula, Fla., and resided in Apopka, Fla., for 48 years.

She enjoyed attending the Pascal Senior Center, where she crafted ceramics.

In 1940 she married William L. Scaffe, who died in October 1975.   In addition to her son, surviving are four grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial are private with arrangements by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401 or the Pascal Senior Center, 125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.  Online condolences can be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com
