Nicole was born December 27, 1978 in Tacoma Park, Maryland and was raised in Severna Park. She attended Severna Park High School, University of Maryland in Baltimore County, and the University of Maryland of Medicine, achieving her Doctorate in Toxicology in 2008.

Nicole enjoyed movies, the outdoors, her dogs, and most of all being a loving mother to her son Johnathan and aunt to her nephew Kaden. Nicole was a tireless advocate for children's education at both the Center for Creative Children in Annapolis Junction, and Benfield Elementary School in Severna Park. In addition to her son, Nicole is survived by her mother Jerrilyn, father John, sisters Laurie and Michelle, brother Robert and nephew Kaden.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road, Severna Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Maryland School of Medicine
