Nella Beth Fowlie, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 7, 2015 at Huntington Place Nursing Home in Rockledge, FL.
Nella Beth was born in Rush Springs, Oklahoma on June 4, 1923. She was raised in Shamrock, TX and attended business school in Dallas. She worked for the Missouri- Kansas-Texas Railroad before moving to Glen Burnie, MD with her husband in 1960. She worked for many years for the Anne Arundel County School board. She enjoyed working in her garden, quilting, reading and line dancing at the local senior center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, in 2003. She is survived by her children, Linda (Gary) Stern of Melbourne, FL, Richard M. Fowlie, Jr of Arnold, MD and David M. Fowlie of San Diego, CA.

Friends may visit on Wednesday June 24, 2015 from 11:30am-12:30pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2015 at 1:00pm in the MD Veterans Cemetery chapel followed by interment.
