Nancy Lee Wilson, 71, a resident of Crownsville, MD died Thursday, 30 March 2017.  Mrs. Wilson was born on 24 April 1945 in Longmont, CO to the late Pearl and Clark Newby.

Nancy worked as a Telephone Operator and Service Observer for the Mountain State Bell phone company from 1963 to 1969.  When her only son, Brett was born, she chose to become a stay-at-home mom and in 1974 she was employed by Tower Federal Credit Union where she served as a Teller, Loan Processor, Loan Officer, and Manager of six branches (three at Fort Meade, MD and three in Europe).  She retired from TFCU in 2001. Nancy enjoyed spending time with friends at the neighborhood beach, visiting family, going on Disney cruise vacations, and performing ministry activities at her church (where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, greeter, secretary/treasurer and finance office member).

She is survived by her husband, Russell Wilson of Crownsville, MD; her son and his wife, Brett and Renee Wilson of Pasadena, MD; and her grandson, Tyler Wilson of Pasadena, MD.  In addition, Nancy is survived by her siblings Clara Mathias of Colorado, Aaron Newby and his wife Joanne of Colorado, Glenda Bruemmer and her husband Bob of Idaho, Donna DeLange and her husband Emmett of Colorado, and Clark Newby and his wife Sharon of Nevada.  Nancy is also survived by her in-laws, Larry and Rhonda Wilson of Missouri, Pam and George Bass of Kansas, Charlotte and Del Wynne of Colorado, as well as nieces, and nephews, and many friends.

On Monday, 10 April 2017, from 4:00-5:30 p.m., family and friends may visit Heritage Community Church, 8146 Quarterfield Road, Severn, MD 21144, to pay their respects.  A private service for family will follow.
