Nancy Borland Walburn, 65, of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away peacefully Friday, February 23 at Hospice of the Chesapeake, Inpatient Care Center, in Pasadena, Maryland.

Nancy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on April 25, 1952, the daughter of the late Wilson and Jane Borland. She attended South Hills High School in Pittsburgh, then graduated from Goucher College in 1974 with an English degree.

Nancy worked in Benefits Communications for 28 years. Her employers included Benefacts, Alexander & Alexander, and AON Corporation. Nancy retired from AON in 2006 as a Senior Vice President, and formed her own consultancy in 2007, then fully retired in 2013.

Nancy's past residences include Baltimore, Reisterstown, and Timonium, Maryland, and Audubon, Pennsylvania. She was a member of St. Martins-in- the Field Episcopal Church. Nancy enjoyed reading, boating, sewing, scrapbooking, cooking, motorcycling, spending time at the farm in West Virginia, and with her grandson.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, George William Walburn III; daughter, Megan Walburn Viviano and her husband Mark G. Viviano; brother Christopher J. Borland; and grandson, Michael G. Viviano.
