IN LOVING MEMORY OF

In Loving Memory of Nancy Lee McDonald
Nancy Lee McDonald, 87, of Arnold, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026. Born in South Bend, Indiana, Nancy’s life was a testament to quiet strength, practical kindness, and an unwavering devotion to her family and country.
As the loving wife of the late Army Command Sgt. Major Daniel H. McDonald, Nancy embraced the journey of a military spouse with grace and resilience. She dedicated herself to raising their three sons, creating a stable and loving home across numerous locations in the United States and abroad before the family settled in Arnold. Her sacrifice and support were the bedrock upon which her family thrived.
After her sons were grown, Nancy continued her life of service by embarking on a civilian career, first with the U.S. Army and later as an administrative specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard, from which she retired. She was also an active member of the American Legion Post 175 Women’s Auxiliary, further demonstrating her commitment to her community.
Family was the greatest joy of Nancy’s life. She is survived by her three beloved sons: Daniel E. McDonald (Pamela) of Abingdon, MD; David E. McDonald (Pamela) of Fairport, NY; and Dale E. McDonald of Arnold, MD.
Nancy was the proud and loving grandmother to four grandchildren (Ethan, Evan, Michael, and Savannah), three bonus grandchildren (Dallas, Tressie, and Maggie), and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense happiness.
She is now reunited with her husband, Daniel, and was predeceased by her sister, Marcia Kazarian. Nancy’s gentle spirit and the profound love she had for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, February 27th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., with a service to follow from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Severna Park, MD 21146.
