Nancy Fairhurst
Nancy B. Fairhurst, 69, of Severna Park, died of pneumonia May 23 at Levindale Geriatric Center in Baltimore after a seven-month illness.
Mrs. Fairhurst was born in New Jersey on April 7, 1938, and was reared in New Jersey and New York. She received a master's degree in medieval literature from Columbia University and a master's degree in classical philosophy from Catholic Church. She retired from the National Security Agency in 1993 after working there for 27 years.
Mrs. Fairhurst was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Fairhurst.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Crownsville Road and Generals Highway, Crownsville. Burial will be in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
