Mo Ching Lam (廖慕 貞) passed away peacefully on October 6, 2021. She was born to Tim Lew (廖珍顯) and Chou Tai Lew (廖秋門蔡) on September 25, 1936 in Hangwei Village, Luotang Township, Taishan, Guangdong, China (羅塘鄉坑尾村,台山,廣東,中國), where she was raised.  She attended school in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China (廣州,廣東,中國). She was married to Yuk Sang Lam (林玉生) on January 13, 1966 and lived in Kowloon, Hong Kong (九龍,香港). After many years in Hong Kong, her husband died on August 30, 1983, and then immigrated to Rock Springs, Wyoming, USA, where he served as his brother's restaurant sous chef. A fter moving to the residence of her son in Annapolis, Maryland, he retired for 16 years and liked walking and participating in volunteer activities for the elderly.

Mo Ching is survived her son; William Lam (林社廉) of Arnold, MD, and has two grandchildren; Quintin (林坤天) and Isabelle (林愛喜); and their mother, Judy ( 劉龐兒). She is also survived by her brother, Martin Lew (廖銘) and his wife Judy o f Rock Springs, WY; and two sisters: Susie Shaw (廖慈貞) and her husband David, of Maine, and Mae Jing Lew (廖美貞) and her husband Tony, of Potomac, MD.

Another sister of Mo Ching, Wai Jing Chan (廖惠貞) passed away in 2019.

廖慕貞女士於 2021 年 10 月 6 日馬里蘭州安納波利斯安詳離世,享年 85 歲 。

廖女士出生於 1936 年 9 月 25 日中國廣東省台山市羅塘鄉航尾村,父廖珍顯,母廖秋門蔡 。 隨後赴廣州求學, 1966 年 1 月 13 月與林玉生先生成婚,定居香港九龍, 其夫逝於 1983 年 8 月 30 日 , 之後移民美國懷俄明州 Rock Springs ,擔任其弟餐廳副廚一職,退休後移居到馬里蘭州安納波利斯之兒子居處,隨後 16 年退休生活,喜歡散步和參與協助老人義工活動。

廖女士留有兒 William (林杜廉) ,有兩個孫子; Quintin (林坤天) and Isabelle (林愛喜); 和他們的母親朱迪(劉龐兒)。 ; 弟廖銘 (Martin and Judy in Rock Springs, WY) ; 妹廖慈貞 (Susie Shaw and David in Maine); 妹廖美貞 (Mae Jing and Tony in Potomac, MD); 姊夫陳欽福及 一眾後輩。

廖女士 另有一姊 陳廖惠貞 女士 於 2019 年去世。
