Miriam Teresa Nash, 78, a resident of Severna Park for 49 years, died Oct. 14 at Future Care-Chesapeake in Arnold after a five-year illness. She had corticobasal degeneration, a neurological disease.
Born March 21, 1928, in Baltimore, and the daughter of the late Alfred S. and Barbara Ihle Epp, Mrs. Nash attended Fourteen Holy Martyrs School and graduated from Clara Barton Vocational School in Baltimore.
An avid gardener, she enjoyed sewing and oil and watercolor painting.
Surviving are her husband, John M. Nash, whom she married Oct. 1, 1949; four daughters, Cheryl Crow, Deborah Nash Gibbs and Denise Wells, all of Severna Park, and Teresa Lawton of Arnold; one brother, Martin Epp of Eldersburg in Carroll County; two sisters, Lucille Wood of Baltimore and Elizabeth Shifflett of Westminster; seven grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave., in Millersville, with burial in the church cemetery.
