Milton Raymond Watkowski, 88, passed away on September 13, 2023 at his home in Severna Park, Maryland.

He was born on February 28, 1935, in Baltimore, Maryland and was raised in Locus Point. Milton attended Our Lady Good Council, Calvert Hall High School, and University of Maryland. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy to become a pharmacist. Milton married the late Cecile Virginia on April 5, 1959 and were married for 57 years. Together they raised five children, Kimberly, Michael, Timothy, Mark, and Christopher.

In the 60's Milton started his first pharmacy in Severna Park at the Medical Center Pharmacy in the Hahn building which he operated through the 70's. After closing he worked for other pharmacies before opening South River Pharmacy in Edgewater in the early 80's. Milton then went on to work for Safeway Pharmacy for 15 years, of which he retired.

Milton was a member of the Knight of Columbus as well as the Maryland Pharmaceutical Association. In 1974 he was the President of Anne Arundel County Pharmaceutical Association. Some of his hobbies were fishing, hunting, and going boating on the his charter boat in the late 80's and early 90's named GinMilV. He was also an usher at St. John the Evangelist Church where he attended.

Milton is survived by his five children, Kimberly Beavers of Trappe, MD; Michael Watkowski of Sykesville, MD; Timothy Watkowski of Linthicum, MD; Mark Watkowski of Severna Park, MD; and Christopher Watkowski of Berlin, MD; his sister Theresa Smith; and six grandchildren, Christine, Matthew, Timothy Jr., Jacqueline, Kelly, and Christian.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Milton's life on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2 to 4pm & 6 to 8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 10:30am in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146

Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, 7305 German Hill Rd, Dundalk, MD 21222.
