Milford E. Butler, age 77, of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2011. Milford grew up in the community of Belvedere Beach located in Arnold, MD. After attending Arnold Elementary and Annapolis High School, he joined the United States Navy and served until 1962. He retired from NSA in 1990 and worked for National Semiconductor until the time of his death. Milford was an avid outdoorsman, a generous, loving, and devoted family man, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glen Burnie, MD.

Milford is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Gerland Butler, children; Robert Butler, Donald Butler, Danny Butler, and Rebecca Zaloudek, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his brother Richard Butler, and sisters Francis Reigle, and Anna Smith. He is preceded in death by his father Milford J. Butler and mother Virginia Birch Butler.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday June 21, 2011 from 2-4:00 & 6-8:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday June 22, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church 308 Oak Manor Dr. Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Internment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
