Mildred Elizabeth Rund, 84, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Aug. 29 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park.
Born Jan. 25, 1920, and raised in Baltimore, Mrs. Rund worked as a financial statistician from 1940 to 1976 for Western Electric in Dundalk. She was past treasurer of St. Martin's-in-the-Field Episcopal Church and a member of the Daughters of the Nile with the Boumi Temple Shrine in Baltimore.
She enjoyed music, piano, theater, travel and gardening.
On May 1, 1943, she married Charles Rund, who died in 1995. She was the sister of the late Esther M. Berger and Shirley K. Dickerson. There are no immediate survivors.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Martin's-in-the-Field Episcopal Church, with funeral services to follow. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery, Wilkens Avenue, in Baltimore. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
