Mildred E. Neville, 94, a 61 year resident of Arnold, died on April 16, 2011 at the Bay Ridge Health Care Center in Annapolis, due to natural causes.

She was born April 8, 1917 in Baltimore, where she was raised, and graduated from Eastern High School in 1935.

She was employed by two surgeons and a dentist as secretary and assistant since graduation. Later she was employed by radiologist as secretary for 6 years.

Mildred was a charter member of Belvedere Homemakers of Anne Arundel County since 1954. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, ceramics, and gardening.

She spent the later part of 2010 into March 2011 at the Atria at Manresa in Annapolis, where she thoroughly enjoyed her stay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund (Pete) Neville, who died on June, 1, 1994, after almost 50 years of marriage; her brother, Albert Rhoads; and her grandson Stephen Harrison Quick.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen N. Quick of Annapolis and one grandchild, Jennifer Neville Quick

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, from 2-6 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will be in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
