Mildred "Millie" Neilson, 85, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2015.

Millie was born in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Ida Grubbs and Walter Swartz. She was one of thirteen children.

Millie married Richard Neilson February 4, 1950. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, reading, working puzzles, and nurturing her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest, James, Howard, Charles, and Roy, and her sisters, Dottie, Jenny, June, Frances, and Elsie.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard, her two sons, Rick and David, her three daughters, Barbara, Ginger, and Mary, and her two brothers, Edward and Aubrey.

She was a loving grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcomed for a Visitation on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
