Mildred R. Marshall, 86, a resident of Baltimore, died on January 15, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
She was born on May 16, 1926 in Somerset, PA and raised on a farm during the Depression. She went to Lancaster, PA for a job, working for RCA, and then met her future husband, James Marshall. They married in 1945 and moved to Virginia then back to Maryland where they raised their family.
Mildred enjoyed music and singing. She was a charter member of Severna Park Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Bible School Teacher and a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Marshall and her late daughter, Barbara Lee Cunningham.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann Bowden of Baltimore, MD; two granddaughters, Rebecca Lynne and Aimee Nicole; and six great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, January 20th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. Interment will be held in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge at 10:00 am on Monday, January 21st, with a Funeral Service to follow at 12 noon at Severna Park Baptist Church, 506 Benfield Road, Severna Park.
