Mildred King, a resident of both Baltimore and Centreville, MD as well as Felton, DE passed away at home on June 16, 2014 after battling a lengthy illness.

Mildred was born and raised in Arnold, MD. She greatly enjoyed Nascar, camping and baseball. Most of all, Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mildred is survived by her loving children: Jesse King (Jo Ann) of Centreville, Walter King (Lynnanne) of Timonium, Deborah Griffith (Andrew) of Baltimore, and James King (Kim) of Centreville. Mildred was also a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Mildred's family would like to express deep gratitude to Gilchrist Hospice and their staff for the loving care they provided.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:30am at Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road, Arnold, MD 21012. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the church gathering hall. Interment will be private.
