Mildred Pauline "Polly" Hesterberg, of Bel Air, passed away on March 4, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born on April 21, 1929 to Charles Heim and Nellie Wolfe Heim and was raised in Thurmont, MD. Prior to her retirement, she the Living-in-Coordinator and the former Director of Pediatric Nursing at Johns Hopkins Children Center.

She is survived by her children; Lisette Stamato and her husband John of Severna Park, MD, and Neal Hesterberg and his wife Cynthia of Princeton Junction, NJ; her grandchildren, William Hesterberg of Philadelphia, PA, Gordon Hesterberg of Philadelphia, PA, Jack Stamato of Severna Park, MD, Alexandra Hesterberg of New York, NY, Rebecca Stamato of Boston, MA, Victoria Stamato of Severna Park, MD, and Kate Hesterberg of Princeton Junction, NJ.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5-7pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11am at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd, Annapolis, MD, 21401. Burial to follow to at Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD, 21208.
