Mildred Regina Harvey, 91, a resident of Severna Park, died on February 28, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis after a brief illness.

Mildred was born on August 31, 1919 in Baltimore, where she was raised, and attended St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Baltimore and the Institute of Notre Dame. She previously lived in the Gardenville area of Baltimore prior to moving to Severna Park, where she resided for 41 years.

Mrs. Harvey was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed volunteering for the church, March of Dimes, and was a Providence Center supporter. Mildred enjoyed crocheting baby blankets and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eugene C. Harvey of Severna Park; three sons, Eugene C. Harvey, Jr. of Gambrills, James L. Harvey and his wife Laura of Kernersville, NC, and Patrick M. Harvey of Shadyside, MD; her two daughters, Sharon E. Harvey of Arnold and Margaret A. Harvey of Severna Park; her son-in-law Phillip A. Auth of Stevensville; as well as, five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3rd from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway Annapolis, MD 21409. Interment will be held at a later date.
