Michele Mayes Huber, 56, of Millersville, Maryland passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 3, 2016 following an extended illness. Michele was born April 27, 1959 in Warren, Pennsylvania, the oldest of seven children, to Duane and Joanna Mayes.

She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, and subsequently held various positions in marketing and advertising.

Michele and her husband Steve were married in 1998 after meeting at their high school reunion, and together had a daughter Emily, 17, and a son Jon, 15. Michele always had a love of people, and touched the many who crossed her paths with her kindness, compassion, grace, and sense of humor. Her family was her life, and she most enjoyed watching her children's school activities, traveling, gardening, and cooking.

Friends may visit on Tuesday April 5, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm in the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at 11:00am in the Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be private.

Memorial donations can be made to the Fetting Fund for Breast Cancer Prevention, through the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
