Michalene Davis Boggs of Arnold, MD, passed away on February 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents (Boris & Stephanie Mostensky) and her brother-in-law, Dr. Gary Wahl. Michalene is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert Boggs, her son, Grant Davis, and his family (wife Kimberly, daughter Abigail, sons Luke & Zachary), and her sisters JoAnn Candilora (Frank) and Nadine Wahl (daughters Alison Wahl, DMA & Dr. Lindsay Wahl (Patrick Martin)). She was born on September 21, 1946 in Northampton, PA and grew up and went to high school in West Islip, NY where she was an active member of the choir, the leadership club and starred on the championship volleyball team. She loved the beach and would be drawn to the water her entire life.

She started her career with Sears in Hicksville, NY as an assistant manager and was transferred to the store in White Plains, NY to manage the girls' department. While attending school at night, she also managed to win the Miss White Plains pageant. Her ability and passion to connect with people was always evident and her career path in sales was well on its way. Following the death of her father, Michalene and Grant moved to Pennsylvania to help her mother. In 1976, they moved to Crofton, MD where she continued her career with Sears in Landover. She found her true calling in real estate in 1980 which began a 40+ year run where she was often ranked among the top agents in the state and was a founding member of The Masters Club of Anne Arundel County.

She met the love of her life, Robert, in 1989 and they were inseparable from that point forward. They were married in Ocean City, where they met, in a beautiful ceremony in January 1992. They shared an amazing journey together where they traveled, worked together, and built a network of close friends that they loved. There has never been a couple more in love with one another than 'Mike & Bob.'

Michalene was a dynamic force of nature. No obstacle was too big, no challenge too difficult, and she always had time for her friends and family. Her positive energy came from people. She made a life of helping others and was at her best when she could make others happy. Whether this was a young couple buying their first home, Grant's friends who all refer to her as 'Mom', newer agents in the office or her posse of friends at the Severna Park Elks, she was in her element when she was in the service of others. Michalene leaves a legacy in the thousands of lives she has made better. She was a beloved grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter, mother, and wife. She was one of kind.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 from 12:00pm-2:00pm followed by a Memorial service at 2:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A reception will follow at the Severna Park Elks Lodge.
