Michael Christopher Wood
Father, husband, friend & coach, passed to God on January 27th 2015 after fighting complications of pneumonia. He was 50 years old.

Chris was born September 27, 1964 in Baltimore. He was raised in Sherwood Forest and attended St. Mary's and Annapolis High Schools. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1988, working his way through school at Annapolis restaurants where he met his wife, Lisa.

Chris is survived by his wife, Lisa and their four children: Caitlin (25), Dylan (23), Sabrina (18), and Merrick (17). Chris dedicated his life to his family, his wife, his kids, and his friends, who he considered family. During their 26 wonderful years of marriage, Chris made a career in the mortgage business. He volunteered as a coach for the Green Hornets Lacrosse program in Severna Park for more than 15 years. In addition, he spent time as the commissioner of the Green Hornets Lacrosse program and coached the Severna Park High School JV Boy's Lacrosse team.
Chris was passionate about his family, the kids he coached, his dogs, and the water. He was happiest on a boat with all his kids, listening to music, and loving life—loving BIG.
The memorial service will be Saturday, January 31st at the Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146 at 4:00 pm.
