Michael Edward Trippett passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023, at the age of 76.  Michael was surrounded by his wife of 54 years Judith and his cherished family.

Michael was born on August 5 th 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was one of 3 children of William and Mildred Trippett. Michael grew up in Millersville, Maryland and attended Severna Park Schools for his primary and secondary education. He was a proud graduate of the class of 1964 from Severna Park High School where he excelled not only in his education but in several sports including baseball, tennis, track and field. After high school Michael went on to study education at Towson University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. Michael quickly took to the profession of teaching and later principal while earning his Masters degree from Towson University. He completed his education at NOVA Southeastern University, in Florida, receiving a PhD with subsequent certificates from Johns Hopkins University and other institutions. Michael remained a principal in the Anne Arundel County School System for the next 35 years serving the public at Cromwell, Hilltop, Brooklyn Park, Tyler Heights, and finally Deale Elementary schools

Michael loved all aspects of real estate, cutting grass, being outdoors and everything associated with farm life and spending time with his family and friends. Above all, Michael loved his children and grandchildren; Doward, Michael & Thi (Cole) and Jason (Skyler, Emma, and Lola). Michael fostered a wonderful life for all his children and grandchildren that was filled with joy and love. He actively coached children's sports teams through the Elvaton Recreation Association and the Green Hornets of Severna Park acting as a mentor not only to his children but to the hundreds of children he coached over the years. He would continue to love, mentor and coach his children as a priority throughout his life sharing words of wisdom such as "Keep your eye on the donut and not the hole," "watch the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves," and "always stay humble." He attended events for his children and grandchildren and would actively participate in their successes both in education and recreation.

A devout Christian, Michael believed deeply in the Lord God and his son Jesus Christ. He spread his love for the Lord. He loved a good joke and believed that he could bring some joy into the lives of all by making people laugh. Michael gave all credit to the Lord and believed that all his success was a gift from God. A legend in every sense of the word.

He is survived by his wonderful wife Judith Ann (Tyler) Trippett, his loving sons, Doward, Michael (Thi) and Jason, and his grandchildren Cole, Skyler, Emma and Lola and his brother Leroy (Darlene).  He is proceeded in death by his cherished parents William and Mildred and his brother Bill.
