Michael Eugene Rash, Sr., 59, a 12 year resident of Grasonville, died on July 7, 2013 at Georgetown Hospital in Washington, DC.
He was born on April 16, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, where he was raised, and previously lived in Annapolis and Arnold, before residing in Grasonville.
Michael was employed with Anne Arundel Recreation and Parks as a shop steward.
He was a fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens; enjoyed music and trivia; and loved his dog. Everyone called him when they were lost or needed directions.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Rash of Grasonville; one son, Michael E. Rash, Jr. of Grasonville; four sisters, Gail Rash of Annapolis, Barbara Strawn of Kennesaw, GA, Mary Rash of Glen Burnie, and Diane Wheeler of Dundalk; brother, Gerald Rash of Bullock, NC, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Please check back for interment information
