Michael Nash
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, for retired Navy Chief Petty Officer Michael Patrick Nash, 44, of the Ben Oaks community in Severna Park. Chief Nash died at the scene of an automobile accident in Millersville on Nov. 3. A story ran in the Nov. 6 edition of The Capital.
The son of Judith A. and James Joseph Nash of Chicago, Chief Nash was born June 18, 1962, and reared in Chicago. He served in the Navy as part of the Sea Bee construction battalion and retired in 2003.
Currently he was working for SRA International Inc. as a senior consultant.
He was a member of the Annapolis Fleet Reserve Association and his interests included camping, fishing, watersports, the shooting range, diving and paintball.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Lori A. Nash, whom he married in 1987; two sons, Christopher M. and James D. Nash, both of the home; one daughter, Ariana K. Nash of the home; two sisters, Mary Kim Thorsen and Wendy Kjeldbjerg, both of Chicago; and five brothers, James Edward Nash of New York, and Kenneth Vedder and Daniel Kevin, Terrance J. and Thomas R. Nash, all of Chicago.
