Michael Miginsky, 94, a resident of Annapolis, MD, died on August 23, 2009, due to natural causes.

He was born on May 25, 1915 in St. Paul, MN and raised in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Miginsky graduated from Baltimore City Community College and Culinary School and was a chef in the 1930's at the Baltimore Old Southern Hotel.

He served in WWII and built Liberty Ships at Bethlehem Steel. He was the owner of Mischantons Restaurant in Edmonson Village and Eastpoint.

Mr. Miginsky was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Baltimore and the Shriner & Boumi Temple. He enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, and swimming.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna K. Miginsky.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret T. Zelubowski Miginsky (nee Moore); her children and grandchildren; one daughter, Elaine M. Miginsky; one son, Michael Paul Miginsky; and two grandsons.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Entombment will follow in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium, MD.
