Michael George McAusland, 78, born in New York City, died on April 2, 2013.
Mike was a loving family man and devoted friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret "Peg"; children Lora Stephan (Colin), Mary Nugent (Noval), Heather McAusland and Scott McAusland (Libby Nichols); grandsons Gabriel and Lucas (Scott) and granddaughter Corinna (Lora); sister-in-law Catherine McAusland; niece Marie Christine Seitz and nephew John McAusland.
He was a 36 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a veteran of the 511th Airborne Infantry Regiment. He worked as an independent sales representative.
A memorial visitation will be held at Barranco's in Severna Park, MD on Friday, April 12 from 3:00-7:00 pm and a memorial mass at St. Christopher's Church in Chester, MD on Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to National Public Radio.
