Michael D. Clutz Sr, 53, a 19 year resident of Severna Park and previously of Arnold died August 16 at home following a long battle with cancer. Mr. Clutz was born December 19, 1954 in Baltimore to the late Richard Clutz, Sr. and Geraldine Snyder Clutz. He was employed at Stroehman Bakery in Jessup and retired after 15 years of service.

His hobbies included crabbing, fishing, and shooting pool. He was the Past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Post 175 for 6 years.

Survivors include his wife Rosemary Gurick-Clutz, two daughters Crystal Ulat and Nikki Gurick and one son Michael D. Clutz, Jr, 3 granddaughters, Brianna, Savannah, and Kennedy, 3 brothers Richard Clutz, Jr, Steven Clutz and James Clutz and 4 sisters, Veronica Lloyd, Regina Shumway, Bonnie Smith and Kathleen Osborne.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday at Barranco and Sons Funeral Home in Severna Park. A Catholic service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 11 am.
