Mericka K. Majka (nee Siviero), 65, a resident of Arnold, passed away on July 25, 2014 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Columbia.
She was born on April 22, 1949 in West Virginia and was raised in Martinsburg, graduated from Hedgesville High School, and attended Anne Arundel Community College. She previously lived in Tomahawk, WV; Glengary; WV, Hedgesville, WV; Glen Burnie, MD; Cape St. Claire; and Arnold.
Mericka worked for the Maryland Association of Realtors on Riva Road in Annapolis for 14 years. She helped in renewing Licenses and Certifications for realtors of the State of Maryland.
She enjoyed reading, going to the beach in Ocean City, visiting in Texas and Mexico, and going to Harrington Casino in Delaware.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rickey Majka of Arnold; her sister, Brenda Siviero Earl of Texas; her brother, Mike Siviero and his wife, Shannon; brother-in-law, Ken Gard and sister-in-law, Toni Gard; and brother-in-law, Barry Majka and his wife, Ruth Ann.
