Melissa Ganley, a resident of Crofton Maryland, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Gilcrest Hospice Center in Columbia, Maryland.  Beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, she will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family.

Melissa was born on July 4 ^th , 1970 in Towson Maryland.  She graduated from the University of Richmond in 1992 and earned her masters in education from the College of William and Mary in 2001.  Throughout her career she worked for non-profit organizations and the state of Maryland as a project director.

She enjoyed traveling the world and being with her friends and family.  Most of all, Melissa loved being a mother to her daughter, Brenna.  They loved going to the beach, spending time with friends, getting their nails done, eating out, and just sharing time together.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Richie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11am at St. Martin in the Field, 375 Benfield Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146.
