On Wednesday, October 10, 2018 Melissa Casto passed away suddenly at the age of 51 years.
Melissa was born on July 22, 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland and lived most of her life in Annapolis, Maryland. She was a 1985 graduate of Chesapeake High School in Pasadena, Maryland. She received an Arts and Associates degree from Anne Arundel Community College. After graduation she pursued a career in financial planning for approximately 20 years working for Merrill Lynch, then Chesapeake Financial Planning. A short time ago she left the workforce to take care of Nicholas full time.
Melissa is survived by her husband of 25 years, Frank; her son, Nicholas, 21 years old; her parents George and Norma Finkner; and her sister Christine (Finkner) Byrne. Melissa will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews and extend family and dear friends.
Friends may visit on Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 2:00pm- 4:00pm and 6:00pm- 8:00pm in the Barranco and Sons,P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home chapel. Interment in the Meadowridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Melissa may be made to Organization for Autism Research (https://researchautism.org).
