Melinda Dulin
Melinda R. Dulin, 65, of Arnold, died July 4 at her home after an 18-month illness with cancer.
Born on March 30, 1941, in Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Dulin was the daughter of the late Navy Capt. William I. Robbins Jr. and Ettie Catherine Robbins. She attended schools in California, Rhode Island, Ohio, Virginia, Washington State, Hawaii and Maryland.
She retired in July 2003 after 30 years of services as an administrative assistant for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, sewing and drawing.
In July 1958 she married David Douglas Dulin. Also surviving are three children, David Christopher Dulin of Centreville, Dawn Annette Dulin of Baltimore and Priscilla Elliott Dulin of Crofton; four grandchildren; and a sister, Michele Solter Theisen of Napa, Calif. She was the sister of the late Shirley Solter Bridges and Dennis Frederick Solter.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 1601 Pleasant Plains Road. Burial is private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
