May Lilek, born May Parrish on November 10, 1919 in Greenville Alabama, died peacefully at home on 14 March 2011 surrounded by her children. May met the love of her life, Ernie Lilek, in Pensacola Florida in 1946 and spent the next 40 years raising three children, traveling the world and eventually settling in Severna Park Maryland in 1966. After the death of her husband Ernie in 1987, May focused on her remaining passions - her grandchildren, gardening, bridge, golf and travel. She maintained contact with many of the friends she made traveling the world and was always grateful for the love and support of her friends and family. May is survived by her sister Jean (Parrish) Lavoie, daughters Trish (Lilek) Demers of Millersville Maryland, Debra (Lilek) Edmond of Arlington, Virginia, son Michael Lilek of Bethesda, Maryland and grandchildren Julie and Ryan Edmond, and Sam and Joe Lilek.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2-5 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, 21146.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Avenue, Millersville, MD 21108. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery (date to be determined).
