Matthew "Stewie" Stewart, 26, of Severna Park, Maryland lost his battle with addiction on Friday, October 20, 2017. He is survived by his parents Stephen and Terri (Kerfoot) Stewart, sisters Kirsten Parks and Emma Stewart, brother-in-law Aaron Parks, grandmother Gail Kerfoot, and significant other Katie Waksmunski. We will all remember him for his ability to make friends wherever he went and to find humor in everything.

He graduated from Severna Park High School in 2009 and went on to graduate from Anne Arundel Community College with honors. Matthew was an aspiring DJ who had previously worked in marketing and office management. Matthew enjoyed spending time with friends, attending music festivals across the country, and riding his motorcycle.  He loved music, tattoos, gaming, and his pets, Piffy and Gracie.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Barranco & Sons P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD. A celebration of life service will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
