Matthew Ryan Stangle was born on April 5, 1989 in Annapolis, MD.  Matthew is the beloved son of Jeanette and Scott Stangle and brother of Heather Stangle-Smith, brother-in-law of Nate Smith, grandson of the late Dorothy and John Harvey, nephew of the late Leo Harvey, nephew of John Harvey Jr., grandson of Donna and James Stangle and the late Mary Anne Stangle, and nephew of Raymond Stangle (Kate).

Matthew is a graduate of the Key School and the University of Maryland where he studied English Language and Literature.  While at the University of Maryland Matthew was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Primannum Honor Society which represents two national honor societies, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma. He was a talented musician, model, artist and athlete. He was a guitarist, vocalist and song writer in a band. He excelled at sports including basketball, lacrosse, football and hockey and played basketball, lacrosse and football in High School. He was President/CEO of Tankco Custom Engineering, LLC and was a promotional sales representative for The North Face.  Matthew was active in animal advocacy and animal rights. Matthew had a wonderful engaging personality and he will be greatly missed.  We love you Matt.  You are forever in our hearts.

A Memorial Mass and Celebration of his Life will be held for Matthew on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:30pm at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 609 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.
