Matthew Miller VII
A Mass of Christian burial for Matthew Augustine Miller VII, 23, of Millersville will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 801 Stevenson Road in Severn.
Mr. Miller died suddenly due to injuries sustained in a car accident Oct. 13.
He was born Oct. 24, 1983, in Denver, Colo., and was raised in Bowie and Millersville, where he lived 12 years. He graduated from Old Mill High School in 2000.
Mr. Miller worked for Reliable Contracting, as a construction worker.
He was a member of the Kinder Park Blacksmith Guild.
He enjoyed blacksmithing and making chain maille. He also enjoyed hunting and playing video games.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Jeanne Thing Miller; his parents, Lydia Muller and Matthew A. Miller VI of Millersville; one sister, Lydia Armur Miller of Adelphi; and one grandmother, Mary J. Miller of Annapolis.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.
Interment will be in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Matthew Miller Memorial Fund, Provident Bank- Old Mill Branch, 670 Old Mill Road, Millersville, MD 21108.
