Matthew Thomas Koehn, 34, died suddenly on November 5, 2017. He was born in Baltimore on September 21, 1983 and grew up in Severna Park, MD, where he attended Severna Park High School. For many years, Matt worked as an electrician and had been currently working as a contractor. He was an avid outdoorsman. The water was always his happy place to be, whether it was crabbing, fishing or hanging out at Dobbins Island. This past summer he was able to take a couple trips to Maine and the Outer Banks. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling and hunting.

Matt is preceded in death by his grandfather Leonard Corcoran. He is survived by his Mother, Kathleen Bennett and her husband Jim Bennett; Grandmother, Irene Corcoran; Brother, Jeff Koehn, and Sister, Samantha Weiszhaar all of Severna Park, MD. Matt had three nephews: Conner Weiszhaar, Ethan Weiszhaar, and Ryan Koehn and one niece, Avery Weiszhaar. He loved spending time with them whenever he got the chance and loved them so much. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Friends may visit on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Barranco & Sons,P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
