Matthew (Matt) William Frost 45, a resident of Severna Park for the past 44 years, died on August 11th, 2012. Born November 7, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Robert (Bob) Frost and Judith (Judy) Frost.

He attended Severna Park Senior High School and High School in Telopea, Australia (near Sydney). When Matt lived in Australia he was an avid surfer. He loved riding the waves. He spent most of his career working in the construction business, specializing in dry wall installation and finishing. He was considered a master in his craft.

He had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, boating and skiing. He loved spending time outdoors and was always on the lookout for good hunting spots. He recently vacationed in Florida where he visited his parents and went fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

He is survived by his father, Robert Frost of Columbia, Maryland, mother Judith Frost of Saint Petersburg, Florida, grandmother Betty Wells of Scarborough, England, sister Laura Skiles of Sykesville, Maryland, aunt Jane Wells of Brighton, England, nephew Zachary Skiles of Sykesville, Maryland and stepmother Martha Frost of Columbia, Maryland. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents Robert and Margaret Frost. Friends may visit on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 4-7 pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, August 18th at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in his name to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
