On October 29, Matilda "Tillie" Poole died peacefully of natural causes at her home in Annapolis, MD. She was born on October 7, 1913 to Henry and Louise Ritter and was a long-time resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland. In 1935, she married Charles Franklin Poole of Linthicum and enjoyed 73 years with him.

Mrs. Poole worked in office management for Horn & Horn Restaurant and for Baltimore Federal Savings and Loan. She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War II and in the post-war years. She volunteered at her church in Annapolis, St. Paul Lutheran. Mrs. Poole is survived by four daughters: Carol Chance of Silverton, CO, Virginia Kulinski of Delta, PA, Cynthia Wroldsen of Atlanta, GA, and Lois Gareis of Arnold, MD, by nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, on Thursday, November 3rd, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Annapolis on Friday, November 4th, at 11:00 am.
