Mary E. Zaleski, 80, of Arnold, died of sudden heart failure March 31 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Mrs. Zaleski was born July 13, 1926, and reared in Baltimore. She retired as an accountant from General Index.

Her interests included gardening, decorating and spending winters in Plantation, Fla.

Surviving are her husband, Leon J. Zaleski; one daughter, Nancy L. Riggins of Pasadena; one son, Ronald Zaleski of Andover, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Burial is private.
