Mary Louise White-Focas, 66, a resident of Arnold passed away on January 14, 2017 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
She was born on August 25, 1950 in Salisbury, Maryland and was raised in Whitehaven, MD. She graduated from Bishop Denis J. O'Connell High School and University of Maryland. She previously lived in Dumfries, VA and Arnold, MD.
Mary Lou worked for J.F. Johnson Lumber Company and was a member of the Ulmstead Estates Bridge Club. She enjoyed bridge, horses, cooking, and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Focas; one daughter, Erin Dwyer and her husband William of Gore, VA; two sons, James Bass and his wife Lindsay of New Market, MD and Dr. Patrick Bass and his wife Elizabeth of Charleston, SC; stepdaughter, Jamie Goebel and her husband Shaun of Pasadena; stepson, Jerry Focas and his wife Michele of Reisterstown; and six grandchildren, Robby (9), Kaelyn (9), Annabelle (6), James (5), Dennis (17), and Morgan (21). She is also survived by her sister, Judith Hyman and her husband Rick of Delmar, Maryland
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11 AM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. Interment will be private.
